back in the high school days, yamashiro used to be THE spot to take a first date. i mean, what girl would not fall in love with the great view of LA from the hollywood hills? there’s nothing like a good ol’ romantic sunset overlooking the skyline. the food is nothing to rave about but no one really goes there for the food anyway. yamashiro now has this farmers market every thursday evening. though tiny, it’s worth checking out. they sell organic veggies, fresh seafood where oysters are shucked right in front of you, soy candles, taco, crepe, wurst, gelato stands, and best of all…WINE TASTING. i’d recommend to bring your own bottle there. they have a small corking fee but it’s worth it cause the wine they serve is more like grape juice. oh, there’s even a pink clown named twinkle for the kids…she made me cringe. after buying all my veggies n seafood for tim’s fam, i wandered off and snapped a couple quick shots of the scenery…i love sunsets =)
