it’s that time of year again! blood..gore..decapitated heads..witches..poisonous candy. i love halloween. Tim and I decided to carve some pumpkins and of course, he decides to carve a pedobear — how appropriate. I took the more traditional (and conservative) route and carved my favorite tim burton character, jack the pumpkin king. i wanted to do yoda but decided in the end jack would look much better.

i like to cure my boredom by goofing off with my beloved camera…tiff came over and we played with my dad’s crazy led flashlights. rave status!!! we started sweating from running around so much. fun fun

fran, tiff and I went down to sd for the weekend for some business. memories of the good old college days resurfaced but we also saw so many new things. has it been that long already?  first of all..roberto’s is now called RIGOBERTOs….wth!? second, UCSD decided to add a bunch of new places to eat on campus after we left and third, there’s a bombay sandwich spot in pb called which wich!!!!! probably one of the best sandwiches i’ve ever had in my life. They’re similar to LA’s burger spot The Counter where you check off a list of meats/veggies/sauces you want on your sammy.

As Fran was holding her meeting at UCSD, Tiff and I wandered off to the infamous graffiti hall.  The old art I saw years ago has been sprayed over with new tagging and all we could smell was acetone and piss.  At least we got to use the new 580exii’s!!

BLOCK PARTAYYY!!! Our fairly new neighbors Jeff and Julie just had their daughter Emily so they decided to throw a Mexican extravaganza for all the neighbors. They definitely know how to throw a fiesta and went all out by renting a taco stand and hiring a bartender.  I stopped by to congratulate them and say hi to their beloved SHORTY — a 130lb bull mastiff and one of dozer’s closest homies.  Even though I’ve lived at the land of ivy my entire life, sadly I’ve never met most of my neighbors but this little shindig brought us all closer together. Thanks J & J!!!

It’s our favorite week in LA! Restaurant week! The Bazaar had a DineLA menu that we were down to try. It was tapas style and some were good some were meh some were disgusting.  There was some cauliflower crap that we rock, paper scissored for. Loser had to eat it. I’d probably give The Bazaar 2.5 stars if I had to rate it on yelp. 2 stars for the bathroom decor and .5 a star for the ‘hilly cheesesteak’ and  caprese salad.

Unlike The Bazaar, I had my og point and shoot that never lets me down.

yesterday I celebrated my birthday with the parentals.  My mom flew back from Taiwan just to visit! she prepared a meal with my favorite….BITTER MELON. then we had cake and tea. thanks to both of them for my new 580exii!!! can’t wait to play with it.

when clock struck midnight, timotang showed me what he got me. GAHHHHHH!!!!!!! no words can express my excitement.  i almost died from lack of oxygen and i was holding back tears of pure joy…FREAKING COWBOYS Vs. EAGLES TICKETS AT COWBOYS STADIUM ON JANUARY 3RD!!!!!!!!!!!!! YESSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!! never in my LIFE have i been THIS HAPPY. not only do i get to see the new stadium in person and my beloved cowboys KILL the eagles…I get to take a long-awaited mini vacation with the bf. what more can i ask for?
