Everybody, I’d like to introduce you to Fran. She is a professional boba hunter. Her job pretty much consists of fishing out boba that her friends have shot into her pool. Pictured below is the culprit of the day. She goes by the name of Emz. As you can see here, she has dipped her entire hand into the pool of water and is now dripping dirty pool water into the boba hunter’s hair, while she works hard to retrieve the boba that once sat at the bottom of Emz drink cup.
This past weekend, we all gathered for our annual Thanksgiving dinner. Great company, great food, great food coma right afterwards. Now that’s what I call a good night.
I feel that every year, our culinary skills improve tenfold. This year, we had the MOST delicious meal we’ve ever cooked. Mac & cheese + gouda cheese + 2lbs of bacon = HEAVENNN. Plus, this year, Jeff didn’t mess up the turkey. So this is the story behind Jeff’s turkey. Every year, Jeff is in charge of bringing the turkey. However, he manages to leave the bag of disgusting entrails inside the turkey. EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR. I don’t know why we always trusted him with bringing the turkey, but we did. And finally, after like the 5th year, he managed to get it right. Congrats Jeff! No turkey entrail juice for our tummies. Other dishes included: bread pudding, pumpkin cheesecake, rice cake (we were all awaiting Aaron’s delicious dumplings but he brought dessert this time), brownie&cheesecake in 1, spinach dip, broccoli and cheese caserole, more pasta that Mama Fung made (DONT LIE JO & LOREN. WE’VE ALL TASTED MAMA FUNGS PASTA BEFORE! you guys didn’t make the pasta!), mashed potatoes, devil egg, creamed corn, corn bread, candied yams, cranberry sauce, and I’m terribly sorry if I forgot your dish. But everything tasted wonderful. Now, onto the pictures!
So thankful to have such a wonderful group of friends. 
Some that I’ve known since kindergarten. (Who remembers Mrs. Shigemasa?!) That would be about 20 years. Wowwwwwwwwwww. I’m getting old(er).
