castle green adventure

I’m super lucky to work at the castle green,  one of pasadena’s oldest buildings. I took a little stroll on my break today and snapped some quickies…

Ghosthunters claim castle green is haunted. I wouldn’t be surprised; supposedly back in the day a little boy got too close to the machinery downstairs and his head was decapitated.   Some famous individuals who lived here are Tim Burton, Marcel Duchamp (French Artist), and one of my fave American painters, Mark Ryden (he did Michael Jackson’s dangerous album cover!).

As i walked out to the courtyard, I smelled something nastayyyy. You’ll see what I mean. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

the rooms in castle green have all been converted into pricey apartments.  hanging on one of the resident’s doors were these wish bracelets!

I walked right outside the office into the courtyard and stumbled upon a bunch of flies. As I got closer, they all flew away and I realized what they were feasting on…poor ratty
